Now Booking Venues for the 2026 Winter Season

Ice Mosaics is a high-impact, limited-run pop-up event designed for one or two weekend engagements — just long enough to generate buzz, supercharge foot traffic to your venue, and leave guests excited for next winter! We're currently scheduling dates for January, February, and March 2026, and prime weekends are booking fast.

Below is an FAQ to provide you with a comprehensive overview of what to expect if you're interested in hosting Ice Mosaics this Winter. Click each section to learn more.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You provide:

The event venue
A commitment to spend at least $4,000 per weekend on advertising the event locally (we recommend hosting only 1–2 weekends per season to concentrate demand)
Staffing for setup, breakdown, and daily operations
Reservation deposit (covers trailer shipping costs and our onsite rep’s travel/compensation)
Concessions (setup & operation) to enhance the guest experience
Wood/kindling for the fire pits

Ticket revenues are split 50/50 between Ice Mosaics and the venue, less ticket processing charges and sales tax.
If Ice Mosaics is a separately ticketed event at a larger property that also charges general access admission, we receive a modest share of the general gate (to be negotiated) plus a 50/50 share of add-on ticket revenue.
The test event in 2025 generated $35,000 in gross ticket sales for one weekend (excludes concessions and add-ons). Please note: past performance is not a guarantee of future results.
Venues keep 100% of all concession and souvenir sales.

Ice Mosaics is designed for venues that want to attract winter visitors and generate buzz during the colder months. Ideal hosts include:

If your location has the space to display Ice Mosaics, can handle guest traffic, and has interest in winter event programming, you may be a great candidate to host.

Ice Mosaics is best suited for cold-weather climates where outdoor ice displays can maintain their form throughout the event. Locations with average winter temperatures at or below freezing are ideal. However, venues in slightly warmer climates — where daytime temperatures may rise above freezing but evenings drop into the high 20s or lower — can still host successfully with proper planning.

Since Ice Mosaics is designed primarily as an evening experience, daytime showings are recommended only in consistently freezing climates. Each Ice Mosaic is created to last for a single day; once it melts, it’s gone. This means that even venues without consistently freezing weather may still be eligible to host evening showings.
